Few places can compare with the Roseland Peninsula, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt parts of the British Isles. Here you will find a varied landscape of secluded coves, delightful creeks, wooded countryside, pretty fishing and rural villages, tranquil beaches, scenic cliffs and headlands.

At the head of this beautiful peninsula lies the historic village of Tregony. This ancient village, with its long main street of old Cornish cottages and houses, is perfectly placed for exploring the region's many attractions.

Overlooking sloping meadows with the River Fal running along the valley the cottage has retained its 18th century charm and is extremely spacious and beautifully maintained offering an extremely high standard of accommodation for two people.

The enclosed garden enjoys a sunny position with garden furniture provided to help you relax.

There is ample private parking to the front of the cottage.

The Bolt Hole is situated in a quiet backwater well away from the main road and traffic but only a short stroll from the well stocked village shop, post office, art gallery and public house serving good food and local ales.

Within easy reach of the coast The Bolt Hole is an excellent centre from which to explore the whole of Cornwall.

The comfort and facilities offered by the cottage are such that The Bolt Hole has been granted ‘Four Star’ status with the English Tourist Council. This award certifies an extremely high standard of accommodation when measured against exacting criteria.

Our cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standards with a comfortable lounge leading onto a fully fitted kitchen and cloakroom to the ground floor.

On the first floor is the bedroom with double bed and separate en suite bathing, shower and toilet facilities. The living room is very comfortably furnished with a large settee and an armchair which are ideally designed for relaxation, recuperation and perhaps quiet contemplation and reflection. There is a circular pine dining table and three chairs should you choose to cook and sample some of the wonderful local produce in the comfort of your own ‘home from home’.

For a quiet evenings’ entertainment there is a television and DVD player which is also configured to play your favourite CDs. A radio/cassette player is also provided for your convenience. There is a large selection of popular DVDs at the cottage but if you prefer, the Londis village shop has a variety of DVDs available for nightly hire.

The kitchen is all electric powered, spacious and superbly equipped with built in cooker, a microwave oven, a washing machine, refrigerator, tumble drier and dishwasher. There is an extensive range of crockery, utensils and all manner of other necessary equipment.

Just off the kitchen is a downstairs cloakroom with W.C.

The bedroom is well furnished and is en-suite with separate bathroom and toilet.
